🔢what are seasons?

Brains + zombies uses periodic seasons for a few different reasons. First, it gives people that join the ecosystem a chance to succeed even if they hadn’t heard about us early on. This is a tried and true mechanism we see through much of gaming today (Fortnite, etc.). Second, it gives us a chance to learn from the previous season to evolve and tweak the game mechanics and season duration.

Beta

Season 0 will be our beta season or genesis season. This is the season when zombies are minted but the most important thing to understand is that Season 0 is highly experimental. This is where we test out different ideas and configurations and gather lots and lots of feedback. So, expect outages, expect plans and ideas and decisions to change.

Season 0 started in November 2022 and will likely on 1/1/2023.
